I had the opportunity to work together with Richard Thomas when we both served as City Councillors from 2014 to 2018.  Richard brings something important to the council table: a compassionate, yet practical, common sense approach to leadership.

Owen Sound is facing some extremely challenging issues over the next 4 years.  Dealing with these concerns and advocating for our City with other levels of government at the Federal, Provincial and County levels will require strong, decisive leadership. Richard is thoughtful, approachable and willing to make tough decisions when needed.  Thats the kind of leadership I believe Owen Sound needs in its next Mayor.

Richard Thomas has my full support for Mayor of the City of Owen Sound.
